INTER LEAGUE CUP FINAL DISAPPOINTMENT

London & Kent Border leagues representatives team lost in the final to Maccabi Sunday League 2-1. Despite going 1-0 up in the first half through Adam Dolby, Maccabi drew level just before half time. Second half was hard work for our lads as they found themselves on the end of some curious decisions and ultimately lost there way through sheer frustration, to which Maccabi capitalised on.

However credit must go to our lads as its the first time we have got to the final since 1995/96 season. The players representing the LKB were:

Team Asylum :- Scott Armstrong, Darren Wise, Danny Gill, Richard Gayle, Akin Falola & Lee Macken

Baldon Sports :- Adam Dolby, Jason Dolby, Billy Dolby & Mark Dolby

Mottingham Village :- Junior Baker, Bingy Grant

Kenningwell :- Carl Dennie

Lomwall :- Chris Black

Centaurs :- Kevin Holt & Steve Diamond

Thanks also to Michael Stevens who managed the lads to the final with assistance from Graeme Dolby

MARY WILTSHIRE SHIELD

AWESOME FOURSOME WALKER

Chris Walker produced a fantastic performance last night scoring 4 goals as Inter Two league champions beat favourites and Senior Prem and more recently Senior Cup winners Baldon Sports comprehensively 6-1 at Bromley's ground. An own goal and a goal from Junior Montegomery completed the scoring. A delighted Serkan Ali from Tee Ef See spoke to this website and stated that Tee Ef See were written off by everyone before the game and were determined not to be there just to make up the numbers, he carried on by stating that "All of our players were on their game and produced a good team performance and I think we deserved to win"

This win from Tee Ef See completes a remarkable season as they complete a league and cup double.

Tee Ef See celebrate their Mary Wiltshire Shield win.

BALDONS STUNNING STRIKE SEALS CUP WIN

Congratulations to Baldon Sports as the beat VN 3-1 to win the Senior Cup. In what was a true family affair for Baldon for the Dolby family, Baldon Sports went 1-0 up after 20 mins courtesy of a penalty from Jason Dolby. Brother Adam Dolby doubled the lead on 36 minutes, in a very one sided first half. Second half and VN came out a different side and started to put pressure on Baldon, they came close on a couple of occasions until Vinny Truie pulled a goal back on 54 mins. Game on !!!! Well yes untill Baldon kicked off and it was turn of cousin Dean Dolby, who struck straight from kick off and straight from the half way line. A superb winning goal and worthy of any cup final.

For the record there were 6 Dolby's (Jason, Dean, Adam, Ryan, Marc & Billy) on the pitch.

Baldon Sports get together before kick off

WALKING TO THE WORLD CUP

Tim, like many 23 year-olds, dreamed of going to Germany to support England in the 2006 World Cup Finals. It helped to sustain him during the long hard months of chemotherapy.

Sadly, Tim will never make that trip. His father John, however, has decided that he will travel to Germany himself but every mile will be covered on foot. Driven by a conviction that the lives of more young adults can be saved, John will use the walk as a platform from which to launch a major fundraising initiative.

The walk will start from the new Wembley Stadium on FA Cup Final day and finish at the Waldstadion in Frankfurt in time for England's opening match on June 10th - fulfilling Tim's dream and, hopefully, having successfully completed the first stage of the Trust's fund raising journey

Registered Charity No. 268369

"I am pleased to donate one of my Liverpool shirts signed by the team to support the
Walk to the World Cup and help young people with leukaemia.
My best wishes to John and Sandra and everyone involved in the walk and I hope they enjoy their visit to Germany .''
Peter Crouch (Liverpool & England)

To support this please visit www.thetimreevecharitabletrust.org.uk or one of there sponsors who banner is below ( www.england06.co.uk ), purchase from them and each purchase they will they will add 10% to the fund.

THIS PUTS FOOTBALL INTO PERSPECTIVE - PLEASE SUPPORT IT !!!!
